I keep a little book of collages/haiku I do out in nature. This one is of dead leaves from last year's spring and new ones from now (with some gold leaf thrown in for decor). I normally use calligraphy but this day I had forgotten my inks and grabbed a sharpie so I wouldn't forget. It's almost like tripping down the stairs in the midst of descending gracefully!!

I like this- very creative. I love how the ending is "the ghosts of spring". I have a book of haikus, but they're a translation of the Japanese so the syllables don't exactly match up exactly.
:iconpseudometry:
wonderful haiku: the season and the image and the suggested sound and motion. I think the visuals complement it nicely.

the ink seeping out into the paper and spreading slightly does fit the 'ghostly' theme well!

I can see how the calligraphy would work better, all the same, a very pretty poem, and a nice, warm image to go along with it.

I like it, but
what's a kachina leaf?
a type of tree?
